Possible parcel delivery delays due to challenging weather and traffic conditions
Logistics and parcel delivery company Omniva informs that due to snowfall and difficult traffic conditions, parcel deliveries may be delayed in some regions and more remote areas.
Impassable or slippery roads, as well as challenging driving conditions, are making couriers’ work more difficult.
“Under such weather and traffic conditions, parcel delivery may take longer than usual. The situation is particularly challenging in smaller towns, residential areas with detached houses, rural locations, and remote homesteads. We apologise to our customers for any inconvenience and ask for their understanding,” says Omniva’s Communications Manager in Lithuania, Gabrielė Požerskė.
She notes that in cases where parcels cannot be delivered at the scheduled time due to difficult traffic conditions, customers are informed individually.
