Additional “Omniva” Parcel Pickup Points to Operate During the Holiday Period
The logistics and parcel delivery company “Omniva” will deliver parcels not only to parcel machines or to the recipient’s chosen address during November–December, but also to special parcel pickup points in Vilnius, Kaunas, and Klaipėda.
These pickup points will operate in shopping centers, near the most popular parcel machines. Information about the parcel pickup location will be provided in the delivery notification. When picking up a parcel, customers will be asked to provide the parcel number.
“During November and December, parcel volumes increase by about 40 percent. Although we operate the largest parcel machine network in Lithuania, it becomes difficult to fit all holiday parcels during peak periods. To ensure that customers receive their parcels as quickly as possible, we have set up special parcel pickup points in major cities near the most popular parcel machines,” says Tadas Drunga, head of the “Omniva” team in Lithuania.
