First Mobile Omniva Parcel Machines Launched in Vilnius
International logistics and parcel delivery company Omniva has installed its first mobile parcel machines in Vilnius. The machines operate in the same way as regular parcel machines but can be easily relocated to areas where demand for the service is higher.
One mobile Omniva parcel machine has been installed on Geležinio Vilko Street, while the other is located on Bičiulių Street.
“As the popularity of parcel machines continues to grow, we are constantly looking for ways to be closer to our customers. Mobile parcel machines are one of the innovations that allow us to better adapt to changing needs and to consistently expand our largest parcel machine network in Lithuania,” says Tadas Drunga, Head of the Omniva Lithuania team.
This year, Omniva also plans to expand its existing parcel machine network with community parcel machines. These are a smaller, battery-powered alternative to traditional parcel machines, designed for locations where installing a standard parcel machine is more challenging. Despite their compact size and easy installation, community parcel machines provide the same reliable service as regular parcel machines, allowing customers to both send and receive parcels.
