Parcel deliveries may be delayed due to challenging traffic conditions
Logistics and parcel delivery company Omniva informs that due to a large accumulation of snow and difficult traffic conditions, parcel deliveries may be delayed in some regions and more remote areas.
Impassable roads, fallen trees, and challenging driving conditions are complicating the work of couriers.
“Under such weather and traffic conditions, parcel delivery may take longer than usual. The situation is particularly challenging in smaller towns, residential areas with single-family homes, rural locations, and isolated farmsteads. We apologize to our customers for any inconvenience and ask for their understanding,” says Communications Manager in Lithuania, Gabrielė Požerskė.
She notes that in cases where parcels cannot be delivered at the scheduled time due to difficult traffic conditions, customers are informed individually.
