Plan Ahead for Christmas: Key Dates for Sending Holiday Parcels
The number of parcels increases significantly during the holiday season, so we encourage customers not to leave gift shopping and shipping to the last minute.
Latest Dates for Sending Holiday Parcels
We recommend preparing and sending holiday parcels in advance, ideally during the first half of December. To ensure delivery before Christmas, parcels should be handed over to a courier or placed in a parcel machine no later than December 20.
For shipments within the Baltic States, specifically to Latvia or Estonia, parcels should be sent by December 19.
Parcels destined for European Union countries, the United Kingdom, North America or Canada should be shipped at the beginning of December to ensure timely delivery.
Please also check the pickup schedule of the specific parcel machine before sending.
Parcel Pick-Up
Once you receive a notification that your parcel is ready for a pick up from a parcel machine, please pick it up as soon as possible. Storage times may be shorter than usual during the holiday period.
Due to increased parcel volumes, some parcel machines, especially the most popular ones, may become full. In such cases, parcels may be redirected to another nearby parcel machine or to a parcel pickup point. Opening hours for pickup points are Monday to Friday from 13:00 to 20:00, and Saturday to Sunday from 10:00 to 15:00. In some cases, parcels may also be handed out directly by a courier stationed near the parcel machine.
All information will be included in your delivery notification, so please review it carefully.
Customers can also select preferred parcel machines through the self-service portal at mano.omniva.lt or via the mobile app. If the first preferred machine is full, the parcel will be redirected to another preferred location whenever possible.
Packaging
Please pack your parcels securely to protect them from damage during transportation and automatic sorting. Useful packing tips and recommendations are available here.
Ensure that the address label is firmly attached, and avoid placing it on slippery surfaces such as plastic tape. Make sure that no old labels remain on the packaging.
