Sending parcels to 237 destinations worldwide is easy – just place them in a parcel machine
Omniva customers can send parcels via parcel machines to as many as 237 countries and territories around the world. The service is convenient and self-service – all you need to do is register the parcel in Omniva’s self-service portal online or in the mobile app, attach the address label, and leave the parcel at one of more than 500 Omniva parcel machines across Lithuania.
Sending abroad is simple
International parcels are often sent to relatives and friends living abroad – people send gifts, souvenirs, and various Lithuanian products that may not be available overseas.
“Lithuanian flavours, items that remind people of home, or simply care packed into a parcel help maintain connections with loved ones or friends living abroad. Our goal is to make sending parcels as simple as possible, so there is no need to wait for a courier or stand in line at a post office. Parcel machines operate 24/7, and the network in Lithuania is extremely wide,” says Vadimas Komarskis, Head of the Private Customer Segment at Omniva.
Parcels can be sent both to popular destinations among Lithuanians – such as the United Kingdom, Ireland, Norway, or the United States – and to more remote corners of the world, including the Bahamas or Greenland.
“We are currently offering special deals for shipments to Germany. Discount codes can be found on the Omniva website, social media channels, and on our courier vans,” adds V. Komarskis.
Important tips for senders
Omniva reminds customers that before sending an international parcel, it is important to check the list of prohibited items as well as the requirements applicable to the specific destination country.
International parcel delivery may also be delayed due to mistakes such as inaccurate recipient information or improperly packaged parcels.
“Before leaving a parcel in a parcel machine, it is worth double-checking the recipient’s details and ensuring that the parcel is packed properly. If fragile items are being shipped, they should be additionally protected. In such cases, we recommend ordering the special ‘Handle with Care’ service. This helps ensure that the parcel reaches the recipient safely,” advises V. Komarskis.
