How to return a parcel

When ordering goods online or mail order shops it might happen that you would like to return the parcel. Find out the return terms that apply to the items purchased in online store already before purchasing an item. It is important to know who will pay the return costs.

Some Lithuanian online stores offer free returned. In the seller doesn’t offer a free return possibility, then the return costs must be covered by the purchaser.

  • Parcel notification by SMS message or e-mail usually also includes a return code. With this code you can return the parcel to the self-service parcel terminal. When returning the parcel to a foreign seller, usually the return costs are covered by the purchaser. Compensation terms for such costs usually vary by online shop. For example, Amazon online shop expects the parcel to be returned economically and will compensate the return costs only if the item was returned due to their mistake. Contact the seller for details on packaging and addressing of the returned parcel.
HOW TO REFUSE FROM ACCEPTING A PARCEL?

If you have received a notification about the delivered parcel in the self-service parcel terminal and together you do not wish to accept it, then just don’t go to take it from the parcel terminal. After storage deadline has passed, the parcel will be returned to the sender.
